Life & Love at the Meadsters: Living in Cloud 9!

9 months later...already
It's crazy to think Lia has been with us slightly longer now than those other 9 months she spent growing and preparing to make her grand entrance.
Every second of every minute has been nothing short of special and a true blessing. Thank you, God!

Since the 8th month update was rather lengthy, I'll keep this one a little shorter.

Milestones and Memorable Moments:

- first real dip in the pool with Daddy. Thanks Aunt Tammy for sharing your pool and for all the cool pool toys.
- clapping when she hears things like 'Yay, Lia!' or 'Pat-a-Cake, Pat-a-cake'....
- learning to High 5 or Gimme 5
- pointing at just about everything: up/down/sideways/front/back - she loves to point and talk
- taking over any gadget with buttons - remote controls, phones, calculators, laptop - if she can push it, she wants it

- Lia is now using a Baby Walker all over the house. Too much fun to watch. It's her own personal lil' people mover.

- recognizing shapes with her toys

- loving to sing along (or hum along)

- loving the ABC's and 123's

- her hair is growing so nicely - really getting long and thick

- she did AMAZING at her 9 month doc visit. No tears during the finger-prick/hemoglobin test and No tears for her 1-shot in her lil thigh. (We hear the 12 month visit may not be as low-key)
